About the Owner

Jay Buckner is the founder and managing principal of U.S. based TradeTogether International LLC, a global consulting, trade, and marketing firm which identifies uniquely promising small-to medium-scale producers throughout Latin America and represents them in commercial negotiations with US-based wholesale and retail buyers. 

TradeTogether International is an outgrowth of its founder’s intense focus on international business, the Spanish language, and Hispanic culture. Mr. Buckner’s presentation and networking experience synergizes with his on-the-ground approach, which includes regular presentations, seminars, and networking trips across South America. Mr. Buckner’s duties include direct sales and marketing efforts, assistance navigating international shipment and US customs, organizing sales meetings with prospective commercial partners, microeconomic consulting, and raising investment capital. 

Mr. Buckner’s educational accomplishments include graduating Summa Cum Laude from Cornell University (’22) with a 4.0 cumulative GPA and a double major in Economics and Spanish, as well as three minors in a) International Relations, b) Environmental, Energy and Resource Economics, and c) Latin American Studies business goals.
